The Lamb Children's Book & CD

This book systematically works from the beginning (before creation) through to Jesus and his ascension. Each page generally has a picture on one page and text on the other. The text has the story being told at the top in an explanatory manner, with bible verses printed in full at the bottom. There are 10 chapters, with questions at the end of each covering what has been read to facilitate what has been learned and for checking they are understanding it. Answers are also provided at the back. I like that it draws out the character of God well. It is beautifully illustrated throughout and would be ideal as a gift as well as for use with your own children. The CD is good to have and children can listen to it even when you are not reading it to them. Highly recommended.
