In 1956, five misionaries to Ecuador were speared to death by a savage primitive tribe known as the Aucas. Two years later, the wife and sister of two of the murdered missionaries returned to the jungle -- to live with the Aucas. Later Steve Saint, the author and son of one of the slain missionaries, also returned with his family to help the Aucas. This is the story of their ministry among those who killed thier loved ones and the change wrought by the Gospel among the Aucas (now known as the Waodani).
